This is the part of my website where I “muse” on things, which is to say this is where I review video games, critique fiction as a means to discuss real topics, post poetry, and blog about whatever I find interesting.
I’ve always found it difficult to do these things in the casual manner required by the regular upkeep of a blog. Posting good content requires time — time to do research, to think, to write, to rewrite, to edit. This is sufficient to create a bias for “serious” topics that deserve the investment, one that can unfortunately serve as a barrier to regular posting, especially if, like me, you tend toward perfectionism.
All this to say I’m always trying to find a balance between posting casually and more frequently, and posting seriously and less frequently. It’s an ongoing process.
